I was born in Frankfurt, Germany and grew up in Bavaria - or, as I tell people around here, to “where they filmed the Sound of Music” - right by Salzburg, Austria, on the German side.

I got my Master’s Degree in American and German Literature and Art Education at the Goethe University in Frankfurt. Over the years, I took many art classes and workshops throughout Austria and Germany.

While studying in Frankfurt, I spent 4 years doing theater with the Frankfurt Playhouse of the US Army/USO, both onstage as well as backstage. I loved working on the sets and started my mural work at that time. “Hello, Dolly”, “The Secret Garden” and “City of Angels” were probably my favorite productions to be involved with.

I moved to the States in 1997, and married my American sweetheart. I’m now a US Citizen and call Tennessee my home! We reside in Nashville with our 2 awesome teen boys and 2 cats, and love living in the South!
